Meet Brian Murphy

Brian Murphys journey into the sport began at the age of 15, but it was a the US Open 9-Ball Championship in 1987 when Earl Strickland won that ignited my passion, marking the start of a lifelong dedication to billiards. My mission and goal is to contribute to helping juniors shape the sport, elevated its standards, and inspire countless players and instructors for many decades. Brian Murphy continues to play on Predator touring events, Lone Star Tour and many other regional Texas events including major events in Vegas. The main goal is to teach the student "how to learn how to play pool with deliberate practice". Provide a "personal pool package" to develop purposeful routines and drills for improvement in pool with detailed video analysis. Focused areas include all aspects of mental and physical training for your conscious and subconscious body. Cover eight mother drills and fine tune all personal routines behind and in front of the cue ball. Cover fundamentals of aim, speed and spin and details to improve patterns. Homework and follow-up refresher checkup discussions to help continuous improvement.
